On Chinese Phonetics Learning Difficulty For Romanian Students

This paper takes the Chinese users in Romania as the object of investigation,researches the degree of difficulty of learning Chinese initials、finals and tones to Romanian students themselves in the forms of electronic questionnaires and interviews,obtains the statistics of self-perception difficulty degrees of different age stages of Romanian students to learn Chinese phonetic and the awareness degree of teachers to their students’ Chinese learning,accordingly to draw out the corresponding phonetics perception difficulty statistics charts.After comparing and analyzing the difficulty judgments of Romanian Chinese teachers on students’ phonetics learning and the results of the investigation of the difficulty self-perception of Romanian students,combining the interview with the student’s language background,this paper concludes that the difficult phonetics of Romanian students in finals are mainly: single vowels“e”、“ü”,apical vowels“-i[?]、-i[?]”and special final“er”,pursed-mouth vowels and grasp back nasalized vowels;initial consonants are:“j、q、x”、“z、c”、“zh、ch、sh、r”,aspirated sounds:“p、t”;the tones are: falling-rising tone and rising tone;meanwhile,learners of different ages have different perceptions of learning Chinese phonetic alphabets.Based on contrastive analysistheory、 error analysis theory、 study transfer theory、 affective filter theory,it concluds that the reasons for Romanian students catching psychological learning difficulty and get pronounce errors of learning Chinese phonetic alphabets lie in the negative transfer of the native language and transition generalization.And they are also influenced by their own vocal organ conditions,personal emotional factors,teachers’ teaching design and teachers’ own teaching quality.Finally,according to the reasons for pronunciation errors,this paper puts forward some teaching strategies for Romanian students which are specific to different phonetics and different age stages,and also discusses the Chinese class design and teaching suggestions of teachers about alphabet teaching,which hope to improve the teaching and learning efficiency to reduce the error phenomenons of Romanian students.
