Representative of the sixth generation of director by Jia Zhang Ke,choose to abandon commercial style from start of his creation,by focus on time change to the individual's rejection,and the marginal culture and the survival situation of the marginal characters,he came into being unique individual style,Jia himself is seen as a representative of the marginal culture.In his films,the gloomy and shabby cities,the luxurious entertainment places and the wandering people in them,paint a picture of the life of the marginal groups in China.Focus on the marginal,understands the marginal,take the marginal into the mainstream discourse system,can observe the social nature and its characteristics that core by mainstream more clearly.Base on this,by investigation of the marginal groups and marginal cultures,we can provide a more reasonable frame of reference for the social construction.With the help of film semiotics,this paper summarizes the elements of marginal culture in Jia Zhang Ke's films from the perspectives of audiovisual presentation and psychoanalysis,and further analyzes the interaction process between marginal culture and mainstream culture by combining the film content and the changes of the director's own activities.The study found that,due to the changes of Jia zhangke's social roles and the constant interaction between marginal culture and mainstream culture,the marginal culture in his films was gradually dispelled,and his2018 work "Ash is Purest White" highlighted the orientation of conversion and the weakness of transformation.This paper consists of six chapters,which analyze the research background,the origin of Jia Zhang Ke and the marginal culture,the presentation of the marginal culture in the film,the interaction with the mainstream and the existing problems.
