Social Pragmatic Skills are an important goal of Chinese study,and for primary&mid-level Thai middle school students,only the correctness of the language is not enough,the Appropriateness and the Normative can not be ignored.This paper is divided into six parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and current situation,research objectives and methods,and summarizes related literatures at home and abroad.The second part is from the perspective of students in Bhavana Bodhigun Vocational College and some Chinese teachers in Thailand,the questionnaires on the use and teaching of social pragmatics were designed and the survey results were compiled.The third part combines the practical cases in teaching to classify the common social pragmatic failure of primary&mid-level Thai middle school students.The fourth part combines case analysis and practice survey results,from the four aspects of Chinese and Thai culture and pragmatic rules,students,teachers and textbooks,to explore the reasons for the social pragmatic failures of primary&mid-level Thai middle school students,including the differences between Chinese and Thai cultural backgrounds and pragmatic rules,the differences in individual students’ ability,the lack of textbook design and the lack of teacher’s pragmatic teaching skills.Thefifth part puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies,including focus on cultural comparison,carry out scientific planning;paying attention to classroom practice,strengthening pragmatic awareness;strengthening teacher training,highlight pragmatic skills;write characteristic textbooks,implement pragmatic model.The last part summarizes and reviews the full text,pointing out the shortcomings of this paper are presented,and the prospects for further promotion and improvement are put forward.This paper,Through the combination of theoretical analysis and practical investigation,clarifying the importance of Social Pragmatic Teaching,aiming at raising rational thinking on this topic and proposing rationalization suggestions and contributing to the career about teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Thailand.
