The Research Of The Gold Ornaments Of Dabuzi Hill In Lixian County

Dabuzi hill site is located in Lixian County,Gansu Province,which is the birthplace of the early Qin Dynasty.Since 1994,161 pieces of Dabuzi hill gold ornaments have been found.These unique gold ornaments are extremely precious,and they are the first-hand materials for the study of Qin people's social life,religious belief,economic form and gold production technology.According to their shapes,the gold ornaments unearthed in dabaozi mountain can be divided into bird like gold ornaments,lip like scale like gold ornaments,cloud like GUI like gold ornaments,cloud like shield like gold ornaments,animal like shield like gold ornaments,eye like cloud like stealing curve like gold ornaments,vertical line like scale like gold ornaments and golden tigers.According to the pattern,it can be divided into bird pattern,tiger pattern,animal face pattern,stealing curve pattern,cloud pattern,eye cloud pattern,scale pattern,lip pattern,etc.Among them,bird pattern and tiger pattern occupy the main position,which is the psychological representation of totem worship of Qin people.In addition,the early Qin people may have mastered a certain amount of sand gulch-gold technology,and used hammering,casting and other gold-making processes,gilding,gold wrapping,gilding,carving,hollowing and other decorative processes to make exquisite gold chips.The Qin people put the gold pieces of such scale in the tomb,which are likely to be used as coffins,war horses or human body decorations.The golden tiger may not be used as a sound stopping tool,but as an ornament with a special meaning.
