The gold-Buyao in this thesis is a kind of ornaments that is the rage during Han and Wei Jin era in the region of minority of the Northeast of China.During this period,using the"shaking-leafage"was an fashionable ornamental method in Fuyu,Xianbei ,Gaogouli race in the northeast of China.The"shaking-leafage"not only was used for crowns,but also used for pendant earrings,plaques,belts, harness…etc.After middle period of the 5th century,this kind of ornamental method spreaded Korean peninsula and Japaness archipelagoes.Based on the archaeological materials of gold-Buyao in the northeast of China,this thesis probed into the shape system, varieties and characteristicses of all kinds of gold-Buyao ornaments.The study include the depth varieties due to the differentia of era,as well as include landscape orientation varieties due to the differentia of race and region, consequently draw the outline of the origin and spreading process of the gold-Buyao ornaments.This thesis is divided into eight parts totally:Part one: preface.Combined the recordation of literature with the archeaolgical relics,defined the range of the research in this thesis and expounded the meaning of the research.Part two: The remarks on the discovery and the research of hictory and actuality. Introduced the distribution of locus of unearthed gold-Buyao ornaments in the Northeast of China,made a comment on the directions of the related research and existed problems,and put forword the method of the research used in the thesis and the purpose of the research.Part three: The discovery of gold-Buyao ornaments in the Northeast of China.Make a tabulation to show the discovery of gold-Buyao ornaments detailedly in the Northeast of China.Part four: The research of typeology of the gold-Buyao ornaments.Divided the gold-Buyao ornaments into six major type,including the crowns ,pendant earrings, plaques ,belts, harnesses and Pao-ornaments.Carried on the research of typeology of these six type of the gold-Buyao ornaments.Part five: The research of region divided and periodiation on the"shaking-leafage"culture.Divided the"shaking-leafage"culture into the west region and the east region. Approximately taking the Liao River as the boundary,the west region centralized in the west of Liaoning province,involved the area of the middle part of Neimenggu municipality and the north of Henan province.The east region centralized in the area of Ji'an,involved the area of the middle part of Jilin province and the east of Liaoning province.Carried on the research of periodiation for the two regions,divided into early period,middle period and late period. Summarized the characteristics of the gold-Buyao ornaments during each period, generalized the diversities of the"shaking-leafage"culture between Murong Xianbei and Gaogouli.Part six: The discussion on the origin of the"shaking-leafage"culture.Compaired the gold-Buyao ornaments in the northeast of China and in the Central Asia area.we can come to the conclusion that the"shaking-leafage"culture origins from Daruozhi culture.The"shaking-leafage"culture spreaded in the area of northeast of China because of the war between Xiongnu and Daruozhi in pursuit of the dominion on Mongolia altiplano,and in the northeast of China,Fuyu absorbed this kind of culture, subsequently Murong Xianbei and Gaogouli did.First,the"shaking-leafage"were used for the pendant earrings,later were used for the crowns and other ornaments.The gold-Buyao ornaments in the northeast of China not only absorbed exotic culture,but also had its own creation and development, therefore its individuality was quite clear.Part seven: The"shaking-leafage"culture spreaded east----The discover of gold-Buyao ornaments in Korean peninsula and Japaness archipelagoes and its relations with in the northeast of China.Introduced the discovery of the gold-Buyao ornaments in Korean peninsula and Japaness archipelagoes, illustrated the gold-Buyao ornaments in these two area were transmitted by Gaogouli.Part eight: conclusion.Put forword the conception of"two-Buyao"system. Point out there are two Buyao system in China----the"shaking-leafage"Buyao system and the"string of beads"Buyao system. the"shaking-leafage"Buyao system is popular in the minority area in the north of China;and the"string of beads"Buyao system is popular in the Central-plain area. In succession, expound the two climaxes of the development of the gold-Buyao ornaments:one is brought by Murong Xianbei by the late of the 3th century and early the 4th century;the other is brought by the nations in the south of Korean peninsula in the late of 5th century.
