| Positive reciprocal behavior is a very common phenomenon in daily interpersonal communication.People will sacrifice their personal interests to return others’ goodwill behavior, which is of great significance to the stability and development of society. So is this positive reciprocity an automatic, intuitive response,or the result of an individual’s self-control? That is,there is little research on the difference of the influence of different processing methods on positive reciprocity. At the same time, previous studies have shown that individuals will adjust their decisions according to different situations. The trust of the interactive objects and the decision-making situation are very important influencing factors in the individual’s decision-making process.Based on the double processing theory, this study will carry out further empirical exploration. In view of this, this study on classical trust game adaptation, create the gains and losses of two kinds of situation,on this basis, through the two-response paradigm to manipulate individual intuition and reflection, and interactive object of investment behavior is divided into high, medium and low three trust levels, systematically investigated two kinds of situations, intuition processing and deliberate processing impact of individual positive reciprocity behaviors. The paper consists of two studies:2(processing mode: intuitive processing vs.reflective processing)×3 trust level(high vs.medium vs.low)were designed in the subjects to study the influence of different processing modes and trust levels on college students’ positive reciprocal behaviors in the benefit context(study 1)and loss context(study 2)under the double-response paradigm. The results of the gain context show that:(1)the results of behavioral decision-making show that no matter what processing mode the individual is in,he/she does not completely pursue the maximization of benefits or positive reciprocity in interpersonal interaction, but focuses on the level of trust given to the interactive object. The processing mode affects the individual’s decision-making behavior. When the subjects engaged in intuitive processing, they were more self-interested in low and middle trust, more altruistic in high trust, and thelevel of positive reciprocity of the subjects increased with the increase of trust. The level of trust affects individual cognitive processing. When the subjects were in low trust, the subjects showed egoistic behavior after deep reflection. When trust is medium and trust is high, altruistic behavior appears after reflection.(2)from the psychological level can also verify the intuition of individual self-interest and positive reciprocity and two kinds of thoughts, embodied in trust in,the individuals are larger conflict, and this self-interest or positive reciprocal conflicts are not affected by the processing way, even if still can be perceived in the intuitive processing. The results of loss context show that:(1)the results of behavioral decision-making show that in the loss context, individuals have both self-interest and positive reciprocity in intuitive or reflective processing. The processing mode had no significant effect on the positive reciprocal behavior of individuals at all levels. When the subjects processed intuitively, they were more self-interested at medium and low levels.High levels of positive reciprocity are more altruistic. The same phenomenon was observed in meditation processing. The level of trust has no significant effect on the individual’s intuitive processing and reflective processing decision-making behavior. There was no significant difference in the positive reciprocal behavior between intuitive processing and reflective processing.(2)psychological research results show that low and medium levels stimulate large conflicts, which are consistent with the benefit situation, and the subjects’ sense of conflict is not affected by the processing method. It shows that both the benefit situation and the loss situation, even in the intuitive processing, the subjects are likely to have both positive reciprocity and self-interest. |
