Artistic Exploration Of Thematic Documentaries In The New Era

After more than half a century of development,documentaries in China have been constantly expanding,breaking through and settling their documentary style,and gradually become mature and perfect.Among them,the thematic documentary bears an important political mission,and has important cultural significance and time responsibility in recording the development of the country,propagating the mainstream culture,grasping the guidance of public opinion,and carrying forward the national spirit.This paper makes an in-depth textual analysis of thematic documentaries in the new era from the aspects of thematic interpretation,narrative content and artistic expression,summarizes the references in their creation,and hopes to provide inspiration for the future creative practice of thematic documentaries in China.The thesis is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction introduces the research background,significance,research status and research content of this paper.The first chapter makes a diachronic and synchronic analysis of thematic documentaries since the new era,analyzes the context and interrelation of their changes,creative features and creative effects,and discusses the current significance of thematic documentaries.The second chapter analyzes the narrative characteristics of theme documentaries in the new era.It expounds the narrative characteristics of theme documentaries in the new era from the aspects of theme types,narrative objects and narrative contents.The third chapter expounds the artistic expression of thematic documentary,and analyzes the new attempt and new breakthrough of thematic documentary in the aspect of image art from the aspects of audiovisual elements,story structure and creation publicity.
