The Research Of Sonatine,Ravel

Maurice Ravel,French composer and pianist,is one of the representative figures of impressionist music.He maintained his style and strict adherence to tradition,also his work is noted for its exquisite craftsmanship,which Stravinsky once called "the exquisite Swiss watchmaker."Ravel's Sonatine is the only sonata that he had ever wrote,this paper makes a textual analysis of his Sonatine from six aspects: the form structure,the musical texture,the penetration of the theme,the mode and tonality,the color of harmony and the complex rhythm,and on the basis of the text analysis content,according to his own performance,sums up its performance analysis.It is of great significance to study and analyze the characteristics of Ravel's creation and performance of Sonatine to understand and play his early piano works,it is also hoped that this paper can help the players and provide some references in the actual performance process.
