Research On Display Space Design Based On "Metabolism" Theory

The characteristics of the display space diversification function determine the comprehensive and marginality of the display space design,and it is necessary to combine various discipline to exploit ideas in the process of its development and perfection.In China,the development of display space design is in a state of rapid and unstable,which requires practitioners to constantly seek new changes and breakthroughs to solve existing problems in the industry and adapt to the requirements of the development of the times.The theory of“metabolism” is the concept of urban planning and architectural design that Japanese avant-garde architects faced with great changes in the past half a century ago.These design concepts fit the design requirements of modern display space and can effectively solve the existing problems of display space.Besides,the concepts are in line with the development trend of the display space design and bring the ability to continuously repair and update the display space design.Therefore,it is of practical significance to reintroduce the theory of“metabolism” and integrate it into the design of display space.The dissertation will show that the research of space design is based on the theory of“metabolism”.Firstly,it comprehensively hackles the formation and development of“metabolism” theory and display space design,systematically analyzes the representative viewpoints of “metabolism” theory and related design works and improve and summarize the design system of the exhibition space.Secondly,it analyzes the existence of severe competition within the industry,the decline of design quality and the waste of resources and energy in the process of the development of modern exhibition space design.Through the re-interpretation and critical analysis of the "metabolism" theory,it provides targeted solutions to the existing problems of display space design,and also brings new thoughts to the development of display space design,indicating the necessity of demonstrating space design based on the theory of“metabolism”.From the aspects of space form,display mode and audience satisfaction in the design of display space,the dissertation combines multiple examples of display space,and the feasibility of display space design based on "metabolism" theory will be discussed macroscopically.According to the components and design modules of the exhibition space,the design strategy of display space based on the "metabolism" theory will be further explored and two design strategies of periodic planning and sustainable construction will be proposed.Finally,the dissertation summarizes the in-depth analysis of the future development trend of display space design based on the "metabolism" theory.Through the exploratory research on the display space design based on the "metabolism" theory,the materialization of the macroscopic design concepts will be realized,and the concrete implementation and practical application methods will be put forward.The design of the exhibition space will be placed in various disciplines and multiple categories of field.The design could get rid of the single and solid design pattern,emphasize innovation and transformation,in an attempt to help show the turning point of the leapfrogging developmentof space design,and provide new directions and ideas for the development of future display space design.
