Research On The Romantic Art Spirit Of Caspar David Friedrich

At the end of the 18 th century and the beginning of the 19 th century,a new artistic trend emerged in Germany,and the Romantic thought broke the traditional mode of thought and began to prevail in the art world with its spirit of freedom and independence.This paper analyzes the social background of romanticism from the aspects of German time thought and social politics,briefly summarizes the ideological basis of romanticism,at the same time romanticism is involved in literature,art and music,and analyzes and collates the artistic characteristics of German romanticism.In the prevailing period of German romanticism,there appeared the master of art Caspar David Friedrich,who became the most representative painter of German romanticism,and had a great positive influence on romanticism and even the history of western art.A brief analysis of Friedrich’s life background and a summary of the evolution of art in different periods of Friedrich’s life.From the spiritual connotation and artistic language two aspects summarized and analyzed Friedrich’s artistic characteristics.There is a noble moral to nature,a unique religious feeling influenced by the environment,and the mysterious artistic atmosphere has created the spiritual connotation of Friedrich and gained in his works.
