He said that modern poems as expression arts expressed ideals and pursued the infinity. This kind of idealism poems was called didactic poems, whose power was from unseen depth, with specific character, expressing the philosophy. This result can also been considered as the beginning of theory of romanticism.2.The Research of Romanticism poems.Romanticism poems, was described with poetic exaggeration and imagination by Schlegel, songs of poet full of inspiration and enthusiasm, not a rigid academic definition. This result was not a personal comment of poets, but with deep reason.Chapter two The Discussion on The Core and The Transformation of Poetry by Schlegel1. The Discussion on The Core of Poetry by Schlegel—The Mythology Theory. Modern poems, lack of myth, such a tough core in ancient times, so the modern poems is not as excellent as the ancient poems. It is an urgent task to create a new myth for us. New myth, not only a hotbed, but also the spirit of works, will accept this glorious mission in the idealism way. Furthermore, not only arts, science also need the myth natural view.2. The Discussion on The Transformation of Poetry by Schlegel—The Novel Theory.The essence of Schlegel's novel was a transformation of romanticism poems. This kind of novel, good at clever and humour, was not truly art, but just natural poems. It is romantic to describe the sorrow materials in imaginary way, also with holy anima and infinity essence. The core of romantic poems was Shakespeare. There were a few differences between novels and dramas. And it was a mixture of narrate, singing and other forms. Schlegel's novels used multiple art ways, against crude framework.Chapter three Schlegel's Practice of Literary Criticism1.The Remark of The different periods of poems. Hoping for the poems, it wasn't a literary genre, but ontology based, with the significance of ontology. It also reached the height of comprehension, grasped the eternal, endowed the salvation from poems, gapped the contradictions in various types of poems and made them unity.
