Investigation And Research On Chinese Cultural Activities In The Confucius Institute Of The Catholic University Of Santa Maria Of Peru

The rise of "Chinese craze" has made Chinese culture popular in Peru,The Confucius Institute of the Catholic University of Santa Maria in Peru has held a large number of Chinese cultural activities in the past decade.This paper is based on Lasswell’s "5W" model and Intercultural communication theory,Statistics of archives and relevant news reports of Confucius Institute and combined with the questionnaire survey,to study and analyze the cultural activities held by the Confucius Institute in the past decade,and summarize the achievements of the cultural activities of the Confucius Institute in the past decade.Point out the shortcomings,and put forward suggestions and Countermeasures for improvement,to improve the communication effect of Chinese cultural activities,expand the influence of Confucius Institute in the local area,and promote the communication of Chinese culture in Peru.The general conclusion is,In the past decade,the Confucius Institute of the Catholic University of Santa Maria has held cultural activities from less to more,from inferior to good.The cultural activities held by Confucius Institute mainly include festivals,competitions and cultural experience courses.There are various types,but the content is relatively single.Although cultural activities are popular,they can not meet the needs of the target audience.The activity developers are versatile and active,with good executive ability,but they lack the stability of tenure and the corresponding professionalism of talent.It is suggested that Arequipa Confucius Institute should make hardware preparation and enrich activity mode and content in future cultural activities,strengthen publicity and innovate communication methods to improve the overall quality and stability of volunteer teachers,in combination with other forces,hold high-quality cultural activities,to enhance the popularity of Confucius Institute in the local area and enhance the influence of Chinese culture.
