A Study On The Relationship Between Explicit Narcissism And Prosocial Behavior In Junior High School Students:the Role Of Gender And Moral Evasion

Prosocial behavior has always been the focus of many scholars,and junior high school students are in the stage of rapid personality formation,rapid psychological development and change,the germination and rapid development of self-awareness,the amplification and attention to self-emotion and behavior and other factors make the group’s prosocial behavior has a great stage characteristics.Prosocial behavior is influenced by psychological development,social evaluation and other factors,and overt narcissism will influence prosocial behavior under the influence of moral evasiveness.The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among overt narcissism,moral evasion and prosocial behavior in junior middle school,and to explore the relationship among them according to their characteristics,as well as the moderating effect of gender on them.This study is divided into two parts:The first part USES the method of psychological measurement,a two junior middle school in baoding city to the third grade,a total of 609 questionnaires in junior high school students,namely the narcissistic personality questionnaire-overt narcissism subscales,the moral protector questionnaire(MDS),the prosocial behavior scale(PTM),the use of SPSS and Process software on the collected data statistics,discuss overt narcissism,moral push to take off and pro-social behavior in junior high school students the three differences of demographic variables,analysis the correlation between the three variables,reveals the moral crimped in the mediation role of overt narcissism and pro-social behavior,And a mediated regulation model based on gender regulation;The second part,based on the first part,designed a group counseling program for junior high school students with moral evasion,and conducted eight intervention studies on 16 junior high school students with high moral evasion for two months.The main conclusions are as follows:1.In demographic variables(gender,grade,family source,family situation and parents’ educational background),male students’ moral evasion level is significantly higher than female students’.In the sub-dimension of explicit narcissism,male students’ self-admiration level is significantly higher than female students’.There is no significant difference between the variables of family source,family situation and parents’ educational background.2.There is a significant correlation among overt narcissism,moral evasion and prosocial behavior in junior high school students,among which overt narcissism is positively correlated with moral evasion and prosocial behavior,while moral evasion is negatively correlated with prosocial behavior.3.In the influence of explicit narcissism on prosocial behavior of junior high school students,moral deduction plays a mediating role,and gender adjustment mediates the first half path of this mediating model,which constructs a mediating regulating model.4.The score difference of the experimental group was greater than that of the control group,which was the most significant in the four dimensions of moral evasion,moral defense,euphemism,responsibility transfer and responsibility dispersion.It shows that group psychological counseling reduces the moral evasive level of junior high school students.
