Vocabulary teaching plays a very important role in teaching Chinese as a second language.Research on vocabulary teaching has also achieved certain results.However,there are still some problems in vocabulary teaching in teaching Chinese as a second language,such as: scattered vocabulary teaching,improper teaching strategies,and too rigid use of textbooks.For intermediate-level Chinese learners,with the large influx of vocabulary and the increasing difficulty of memory,these problems have become the bottlenecks that restrict learners’ ability to improve their Chinese proficiency.Collective vocabulary teaching mode,as an emerging teaching mode,refers to the division of vocabulary into different types of vocabulary in the process of teaching Chinese as a second language.On this basis,teaching activities are carried out.When explaining new words,we should pay attention to the reveal of the link between words,helps learners to establish a vocabulary network system;when practicing new words,we should pay attention to the recurrence of vocabulary and connect new and old knowledge together.The comprehensive vocabulary teaching mode mainly includes six steps: selection,introduction,display,explanation,practice,and consolidation.The collective vocabulary teaching model can not only help learners effectively expand their vocabulary,but also cultivate students’ Chinese vocabulary awareness and help students master vocabulary acquisition strategies.According to the characteristics of Korean learners at the intermediate stage in Korea,six types of vocabulary sets are designed: a fixed collocation set of words from the aspect of vocabulary usage,a semantic field set,the same morpheme set,and the same topic set from the meaning aspect,and the vocabulary structure in terms of affix and affix collections,the Chinese word collection was designed from the perspective of contrasting Chinese and Korean vocabulary.And according to Developing Chinese Intermediate Comprehensive in Lesson 12 of "I","Let the Thumb Speak," has been designed with vocabulary teaching,showing the specific vocabulary construction process.
