Rnga rgod nam mkha seng ge(1712-1780)was a famous political and religious figure in the 18 th century in the Luqu River in Amdo,he is contemporary with the second Kunqin Jamyangshepa of Labrang Monastery,This thesis took his two woodcut biographies as first-hand materials,and attaches historical materials such as Mdo smad chos ‘byung and other local history books,catalogues,monasteries,biographies,etc.by using comparative research,collation and similarities to try to sort out and study his whole life.This thesis is mainly divided into three parts: the foreword,the body and the end.The first is the foreword of this thesis,mainly elaborates on the author of the biography of Master Rnga rgod nam mkha seng ge,as well as the historical source of the biography and the period of writing.Secondly,by collecting and sorting out the sporadic biographies of the first Rnga rgod Tlku's biographies,sorted out the deeds of the two brothers in the upper and lower Amqok districts,paving the way for understanding the social background of the Rnga rgod nam mkha seng ge.The main part of the thesis is based on the life trajectory of Rnga rgod nam mkha seng ge,which describes the life experiences in three parts including his youth and old age.In each section,it is subdivided into the place and the date of birth,begin with being a monk to fully ordined,study tours,construction of the Tashi bshad sgrub ling monastery,helping the second Jamyang Kunqin Jigme wangpo to construct the Amqok Temple and served as the master of Bodhi Dharma school,opened the altar to teach enlightened beings,and finally passed away.The last part focused on its main deeds.From the construction of the retreat,Tashi bshad sgrub ling monastery and the development of rituals and fasts,collected the Jone version of Kangyur and tangyur,build statues and temples,travel to various places to teach at the altar,writing on the Bodhi Path,Yoga,rituals,prayers,teachings,present observations,confession of fire,measurement of interpretation,history of world formation,commandments,grammar,poetry,medicine and calendar,biographies,etc.and the final chapter ends with a review and evaluation of its heritage and its achievements in religion,culture,and education.
