| The "Danzig Trilogy" is a collective name for the three novels of The Tin Drum,Cat and Mouse,and Dog Years by the famous German contemporary writer Günter Grass from the late 1950 s to the early 1960 s.He wrote the dark history of the Second World War in Germany and the civic life in the Danzig area with symbols,metaphors,and black humor.Previous studies on the "Danzig Trilogy" have focused on examining the connection between the creation of literary work and the life experience of the writer;analyzing the characters and themes in the work,digging out the social,historical,and cultural connotations behind the work;analyzing the connection between the use of artistic methods of the novel and the writer’s creative ideas.The author found that the "Danzig Trilogy" through reading the works is not only a reflection on history but also a reflection on reality.The historical,cultural,literary,and philosophical reflections contained in the works reveal the consistent theme of "Resistance",which clearly opposes the various tragedies caused by traditional factors in German history.This "resistance" theme is inseparable from the writer’s own historical reality experience,and this resistant writing of the "Danzig Trilogy" also has enlightening significance of historical ideas and moral rationality.This article discusses from three aspects: the expression of "resistance" in the "Danzig Trilogy",the relationship between "resistance" in the work and thewriter himself,and the meaning of resistant writing.The first chapter discusses the textual expression of "Resistance" in the "Danzig Trilogy" from the perspectives of history,culture,and philosophy,and explores the deep connotation behind the text and the author’s creative ideas.The second chapter analyzes the relationship between the "resistant" writing in the work and Grass’ s historical experience,realistic thinking,and acceptance of philosophical ideas.The plot and characters in the work reveal the writer’s personal color,and the writer projects his own experience into the work.In the creation.The third chapter summarizes the significance of resistant writing in the works in the context of post-war introspection and creative controversy in Germany.It has the purpose of reflecting on history,of highlighting the realistic meaning of literature,and of correcting distorted rationality and realizing ideological enlightenment. |
