Abstract/Summary:
Gunter Grass, the Germany contemporary writer,the awarding of 1999 Nobel Prize for literature.His representive work Dazig Trilogy(Blechtrommel,Katz und Maus,Hundejahre),is the collective embodiment of the author's early style and thus persist through the whole writing practice. With methods of narratology and carnival, this thesis focus on the "teenger" world ,which is a clue to analyze the image creation and artistic characteristics,makes an exploration of the Enlightment and Criticism in content, the morden art technique and realism style.From the viewpoint of literature history and writer speciality, it makes a point of Gunter Grass's inherity and creation contribution to the literature position.The paper is mainly composed of four chapters.Chapter 1 :capture and being captured:the paradox of children image.Based on the physiology,psychology and personality,we can see Grass how to mould the paradaxical images of children to present the feeling of carnival ceremony,and to convery his art meditation on the dualism of thought in Germany. Charpter 2:the journey of children growthrthe participative past.From the viewpoint of the preposterous growth of children,thespecial perspective of children demonstrates its function--to embody the author'swriting stand from down to up,from back to front.Chapter 3:the game rules of children:the carnival of growth.Grass's thought of enligthment,the spirit of introspection and the experience of life are all based on the thinking mold and affection pattern of carvinal.It can be traced to the same origin of the spirit of literature in Europe.Chapter 4:children:the mirror to observe the past.From the artistic function of the children's world, we can conclude Grass's depth of thought and the distinctive feauter of art.
