"Belem" is the generic term for the traditional folk dance of the Xibe ethnic group.Belem is a kind of improvisation performed in solo,group of two or more with the accompaniment of a musical instrument named Dongbuer.By means of field investigations,the author has founded that Xibe Belem,including Salute Belem,Zouma Belem and Ahesole,is closely related to the dance of the Han nationality,Manchu,Mongolian and Russian,and has the cultural representation of borrowing and blending.As a ceremonial folk dance of the Xibe ethnic group,saluting Belem reflects the etiquette and customs of the Xibe people.On account of the etiquette and customs of the Xibe people are inextricably linked to that of the Han nationality and Manchu,Salute Belem is also a proof shows the cultural blending between the Xibe people and the Han and Manchu people.The similarities and differences between the Zouma Belem and the Mongolian Zouma saruden show the imprints of cultural integration.In the absorption and reference of the Mongolian Zouma saruden,the Xibe people made the Zouma Belem with their own understanding.Ahesole is the result of modern Russian tap dance.The Russian tap dance is different from the Xibe people folk dance in movements and performance types.The lively rhythm of tap dance attracted the attention of the"hand-dance-centered" Xibe Belem.Thereupon,the Xibe people incorporated the elements of tap dance into their own routines to form the Ahesole.Borrowing and blending are all based on the continuous contact and learning of the excellent cultures of the people around Xibe people.In this paper,the diachronic changes of Xibe culture is taken as the starting point,and the synchronic differences between Xibe people and Manchu,Han,Mongolian and Russian dance are compared.Through the micro-perspective of head,hand,shoulder,hip and footwork,the dance form of "Belem" is deconstructed and its artistic features of cultural borrowing and blending are sought.On the basis of in-depth fieldwork,this paper adopts the method of cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary comparative study,and draws on the theories of anthropology,art,folklore and other disciplines to demonstrate how Belem selectively borrowed from other cultures and intermingled and integrated them,and how to bring about the cultural change of Belem form which is in accordance with the cultural psychology of the Xibe people.The paper uses the methods of interview and Dialogue,Participatory Observation,on-the-spot study,image collection,etc.This paper attempts to deconstruct and interpret the historical formation,cultural exchange,morphological variation and stylistic features of the "Belem" of the Xibe people nationality,and to explore the artistic law of the blending and development of the "Belem" of the Xibe ethnic group.
