Jazz Language And Its Expression In Kapustin’s Concert Etude Op.40 No.3

Nicola Kapustin,one of the most active jazz pianists and composers in the world today,has a unique style of composition,which incorporates classical musical structure,jazz style and rock elements.He integrated his understanding of jazz into all kinds of works he created and highlighted his own style of composition.By analyzing a series of jazz elements appearing in his concert Etude Op.40 No.3 Tocattina,this paper explores the Jazz Language in his jazz etude,so as to let more people who like jazz piano music know Nicola Kapustin.
