Characterization Of Youyou Tu In The Opera "You You Lu Ming"

The opera "You You Lu Ming" is a national opera created by Ningbo Performing Arts Group in 2017.It was composed by Meng Weidong,written by Yong Zhi and Guo Xue,directed by Liao Xianghong and conducted by Zhu Man.It tells the story of Youyou Tu,a Chinese Medicine scientist and winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.As a young age,a serious illness let Youyou Tu and Chinese Medicine bonding,later,she entered the highest pharmacy school in China.After graduation,she served as the leader of the anti-malaria technical team.After 190 failed experiments,artemisinin was extracted successfully.This thesis takes the character of Youyou Tu as the starting point,makes an in-depth analysis of her character characteristics and dramatic images in different periods,puts forward the tone of the characters from the music theme according to author's singing and performing experience in the play,determines the character's emotion from different song deduction,and shaping character from living body language,the characterization of Youyou Tu in the Opera should be built from these three aspects.
