A Study On The Toiletries Of Chu Han Unearthed In Hunan Province

As the daily necessities that people often use in daily life,toilet articles have appeared as early as 6000 years ago.From the Warring States period to the Western Han Dynasty,the development of toiletries began to flourish.There are many kinds of funerary objects unearthed in the tombs of the Warring States period in Hunan Province.To the Han Dynasty,a strong national power,rapid economic development.In the Han Dynasty,there were innovations and developments in the functional forms and decorative patterns of toilet articles.The Noble Class of the Han Dynasty was influenced by the idea of religious gods,so the toilet articles unearthed in the Han tombs were beautiful,magnificent and exquisite.The toilet articles of the Warring States and the Han Dynasty unearthed in Hunan Province have various types of utensils and exquisite decorative patterns,which reflect the folk customs and cultural characteristics of the society at that time.The shape and pattern of toilet articles can be used to analyze the differences between the toilet articles unearthed from Warring States tombs and those from Han Tombs in Hunan Province.In addition to the conclusion,this paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the content and significance of this thesis,introduces the Related Research on toiletries and toiletry customs in recent years,and explains the research methods and ideas of this thesis on the basis of previous studies.The second chapter,from the collection of archaeological materials,combined with literature records,the Warring States Tombs in Hunan Region,Han Dynasty unearthed cosmetic supplies classified summary,and on the basis of classification,the texture,source and use of each kind of cosmetic articles were studied preliminarily.The third chapter,the functional form of the toiletries are summarized.Combined with its combination changes,the paper discusses the status and gender differences of the users of toilet articles in the society at that time.In the fourth chapter,the toiletries unearthed from the tombs of Warring States and Han Dynasty in Hunan are compared with those unearthed from the tombs of Warring States and Han Dynasty in Hubei Thus summed up the Hunan region unearthed in the Warring States,Han Dynasty toiletries regional style and artistic features.
