A Comparative Study On The Ancient Glass Of The Warring States To The Han Dynasty In Three Places Of Hunan,Hubei And Guangxi

As one of the earliest man-made materials,glass has played a unique role in the development of human civilization,and it is still widely used in the world today.In China,the origins of the glass are likely to be traced back to the first half of the first half of the week in the Western Zhou Dynasty,but the emergence of the real glass was roughly in the sixth century BC,late spring and autumn period,to the Warring States period and Qin and Han Dynasties received initial development.In this thesis,we mainly unearthed glass in Hunan,Hubei and Guangxi as the object of study,the times for the Warring States period to the Han Dynasty,the glass unearthed profile introduction and typology research.The development and evolution of the ancient glass in Hunan,Hubei and Guangxi were discussed and compared with the surrounding areas,and the relationship between the development and the surrounding areas was discussed.From the age and shape of the ancient glass unearthed,the spread of the glass in the three places is interactive.Hunan,Hubei belong to Chu,but Hunan in the acceptance of foreign glass at the same time will be localized,to produce a glass with Hunan characteristics,and affect the Guangxi region.Guangxi region by the external factors,to produce a Western-style glassware.Three glass from the ingredients to have their own differences,Hubei more calcium and sodium glass,Hunan region of more lead barium glass,and Guangxi region of the unearthed glass,both overseas exotic calcium and sodium glass,but also local homemade high potassium glass.There are many commonalities in the influence of Chu culture of Hunan and Hubei,but there are also have some differences.The reason is due to the geographical differences and the influence of indigenous culture and foreign culture.Guangxi region local Lingnan culture characteristics are obvious,but because of the geographical location,on the one hand by the North to the impact of Chu culture,showing the similarity of the glass in Hunan and Hubei region;On the other hand by the influence of foreign culture,there are obvious of the overseas cultural style.
