Luji was a famous litterateur in the Xijin Dynasty, and also a representative of the southern literati who came from the south to the north after the demise of the Dongwu Dynasty. His literary creation and literary theory are well-known in China, known as"the talented person of Taikang".Through the study of Luji's works,we can see that his literary creation shows a strong“Chinese Ancient Southern scholars'consciousness",showing the collective characteristics of scholars from the south to the north from the political, ideological and other perspectives.First of all,the Xijin Dynasty destroyed Dongwu, resulting in Jiangdong scholars from the south to the north. In the bumpy reality of the north, they had a strong sense of southerners. As“after the country's subjugation",they were ostracized and humiliated by the northern aristocratic families. However,in order to seek the development of their official career, they had to contend with the northern scholars.Since then, the cultural differences between the north and the south have become more and more obvious The ideological trend with metaphysics as the center and the tradition with Confucianism as the core in the South have produced the conflict psychology in the aspects of political thought, academic exchange, social fashion, etc.in addition, the traditional superior psychology of the northerners is the catalyst for the aggravation of the conflict.Luji seek the political opportunity in the cracks of the contradiction, which objectively also promotes the regional integration of the north and south cultures.Secondly,Lu family in Wujun has been a famous family in the south of the Yangtze River since the Han Dynasty. The background of this family and the achievements of his father and grandfather's ancestors have had an indelible impact on Luji. After he became an official in the north,he still adhered to the legacy of his father and grandfather's ancestors and inherited the Confucian tradition of taking the world as his own duty. The "honest" of family style has also influenced later generations.Luji's"consciousness of southerners" was formed after he went to the north, which was mainly reflected in his exchanges and mutual gifts with scholars from the north and the south in the ups and downs of the official sea after he went to Luoyang. The influence of Luji's family life on his“Chinese Ancient Southern scholars' consciousness" also shows in his literary creation. The praise of merits and achievements of ancestors concept, the writing of scholar's consciousness and the sentimentality of Dongwu complex are all concrete manifestations. In the end, this kind of“Chinese Ancient Southern scholars' consciousness" produced under the special political background has an impact on the expression of Luji's poetry creation theme, the shaping of literary image and the selection of specific image. The theme of "returning to home" in the poems not only expresses the sad thoughts of wandering children, but also expresses the helpless of "returning to home but not conquering".Therefore, the author also creates many poems about women who want to think about women. In the aspect of image selection,Luji paid attention to describing the most representative scenery of Jiangnan water town, which bringed about the thoughts of homeland. In the process of creating images,on the one hand, his poems wrote about many southern literati who had similar experiences with himself, reflecting the collective characteristics of his“Chinese Ancient Southern scholars' consciousness",on the other hand,he expressed his complex mood after going to Luoyang with the images of tourists and stray birds and animals, which was also the development process of "Southern consciousness" from abstract to concrete in the literary manifestation.
