An Analysis Of The Narrative Technique Of Oral History In Documentary

Oral history is an objective and true record of what a group or individual has experienced.In fact,when documentaries record the face of real life,they mainly rely on pictures and sounds.Oral history,based on different levels,objectively expresses the original history and the thoughts it contains to the audience.The combination of the two makes oral history an important form of documentary creation.Oral history is to record the personal cognition and understanding of history truthfully by means of interviews and other ways.In essence,it is a method to study history on the spot,which provides real information for the society to uncover the truth of history.At present,the main body of documentary creation is the integration of documentary and oral history to create works.Based on the development of Oral History Documentary in China in recent years,this paper selects "special forces" documentary works as research cases,analyzes the current situation and narrative characteristics of oral history documentary with the help of documentary narrative method,and studies the Narratology and related theories in film and television literature.Documentary producers not only innovate the traditional way of historical and cultural records,but also record the real living conditions of local people,which can be said to lay an important foundation for scholars to study local historical changes.With the increasing number of documentary communication channels and media,the use of oral history in documentary,research on historical data,analysis and solution of problems are of great significance.Since the end of the last century,many people in China have been interested in documentaries about Xinjiang’s living conditions.Under the influence of economic globalization,technological revolution and other factors,the production level of documentary film is constantly improving,and the cumulative broadcast volume is also showing a trend of continuous increase.As a whole,it greatly promotes the prosperity and development of local cultural economy.Xinjiang historical documentary often pays attention to the Silk Road and the unique scenery of Xinjiang,especially the natural and cultural landscape of Xinjiang in Northwest China,which has unique ornamental value and98 image creation value.Xinjiang documentary records the economic and cultural development of Xinjiang.In the specific and perceptible image of Xinjiang documentary director,it can bring a kind of remote cultural visual experience to the audience and make the audience feel the hope and yearning of Xinjiang people for life.The continuous development of the media has also changed the living habits and lifestyle of the vast audience of Xinjiang culture.The author’s graduation creation takes the historical story of the early stage of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps as the theme,and tells the hard course of the old generation of corps at that time.This paper takes "special forces" as an example,through interviews with veterans of the Corps,explores history in their memory,reappears history,and studies the narrative of oral history in documentary from the perspective of narrative,narrative language and other aspects.
