The director Gu Tao was the backbone of the documentary director groups.He established the individual's historical review that made up macro-topic by his unique narrative ways,which truly,rationally and objectively showed the living status of hunting nations after the shotguns captured.It also expressed the complexity and contingency of Ewenki hunters and the living conditions of Aoluguya hunters with low level in this process.The innovation of ideas and narrative ways in ethnography documentaries is extremely representative in current directors of documentary.Because the director Gu Tao was always wandering outside the traditional style,he was not known by the public until 2013 when he was rewarded the Best Documentary Award in the second Fenghuang Documentary Award by his work Han Da Han.He then gained extensive attention domestic and abroad.The systematic and frontier study of Gu Tao's documentaries is lack due to his low rate of new works.The narrative study of Gu Tao's ethnography documentaries who is the academic in the initial phase is still not enough.Therefore,it is very significant to study the narrative of Gu Tao's documentaries.This thesis will mainly analyze and tease the narrative elements of the three ethnography narrative films “Gu Tao's trilogy”(Aoluguya Aoluguya,Yuguo and His Mother and Han Da Han)by the theoretical knowledge of film narratology from the perspective of narratology.This thesis mainly contains three parts,which will separately discuss the narrative strategy,narrative language and narrative style of “Gu Tao's trilogy”.This paper is divided into three chapters.:the study of narrative technique?the study of narrative style,the study of narrative style.and narrative technique are the most important part of the narrative strategy,so they are put into the first chapter.The first is the issue of prose and linearity.Most of the documentary narratives are in prose,but there are also linear narratives in the trilogy.Then,,I analyze the trilogy 's hyper-narrative technique and narrative cross-layer phenomenon from the perspective of narratology.The hyper-narration brings a kind of transcendental gesture,and the cross-layer phenomenon is affixed to the Ewenki ethnicity.Intertextuality and contrast are the characteristics of the trilogy,intertextuality integrated of the three films,contrast expressed Ewenki people 's embarrassing situation.In Chapter II,I start with the camera language to analyze Gu Tao's shooting characteristics,close-up shows the life,the empty lens to show the wonderful scenery,panning the lens to show the mad mood,the black screen to play a interval Function,the composition of the lens shows the hierarchy of the shooting.Because there is no explanation,the role of the subtitle is more heavy,I subtitles it from the original role and control the role of narrative in two aspects of the analysis.The third chapter focuses on the narrative style,the composition of the style of nothing more than two parts,first of all modality,ethnography trilogy both pathos modality,but also a warm mood,fun modality,they decided the documentary emotional style.I also singled out a sense of art,whether poetry or Vega image,I think they have expressed the author's artistic mind,and the author's artistic mind,determines the works of the art of mind.
