Kyrgyzstan is the multi-ethnic and multilingual country located in central Asia,which is one of countries on the silk road.After its independence,the langguage policy has made the language status of Russian and Kirgiz change.Thus,the current situation of the language usage in Kyrgyzstan has changed.The study takes the primary and secondary schools Bishkek as the research scope,students in the primary and secondary school as the research object..The survey selects the data of 9 primary and secondary school students.via the questionnaire survey,observation,interviews.This paper discusses the language usage status,language ability and attitude towards different languages in Bishkek city,.The survey shows that the usage of native language in the use of family language has an absolute advantage,and the usage of Russian has shown an upward trend with the change of ancestors-father-peers.The language usage in school depends on the language of the student's class.In terms of social communication language use,studengts of different ethnics use different languages according to different occasions.Both Russian and Kirgiz are mainly used in Kyrgyzstan.r.Russian is more widely used in public area.Both Kirgiz and Russian students have high proficiency in their native language.However,the minority students mainly depend on Russian language.Students of different nationalities have bilingual communication skolls.In foreign languages,students are better at English than other foreign languages.In terms of langguage attitude,the students in Bishikek have a positive attitude towards Kirgiz and Russian,and their attitude and expectation of Russian are very high.The Russian language still occupies a very important position in the middle school students in Bishkek,and the status of Kirgiz language has also improved.
