Language changes with the times,and the most frequent part is vocabulary.Loanwords have injected fresh blood into the whole Chinese expression system,until now,the study of loanwords has never been interrupted.This paper selects English transliterated words as the research object to investigate the use of English transliterated words in contemporary Chinese from the perspective of overall arrangement and induction and case comparison.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly including the reason of the topic,the research purpose and significance,and the summary of previous studies on English transliteration.Through sorting and summarizing,it is found that previous studies on transliterated words focus on the source,the phenomenon and mechanism of single sound morphemes,and the comparison with free translation words,while the comprehensive comparison of the interaction between English transliterated words and free translation words,borrowed words and native words is rare.The second part is to sort out the competition results of English transliterated words.This paper summarizes the competition results of English transliterated words in contemporary Chinese by sorting out the English transliterated words in 5dictionaries and 7 “Reports on Chinese Language Life Conditions”.The third part is the case comparison of English transliteration word competition results.Two groups of English transliteration words,“yǐnqíng”and “fādòngjī”,“fěn” and “mí”,which are observed frequently at present,are selected as case study objects to discuss the changes of English transliteration words in contemporary Chinese from a micro perspective.The fourth part is the mechanism and motivation of different competitive results of Chinese and English transliterated words.Through research,it is found that the mechanism of different competitive results of Chinese and English transliterated words can be divided into system integration mechanism and strategy integration mechanism,and the motivation plays a deep driving role.The fifth part is the conclusion,which summarizes the research conclusion,innovation and deficiency of this paper as well as the reflection on teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
