Study On Immersive Art Exhibition And Its Aesthetic Characteristics

The rapid development of science and technology has made it one of the important factors to promote artistic innovation.For example,art works not only rely on a single visual sense,but also mobilize the viewers’ multiple sensory systems to enter the world of works,strengthening its immersion experience."Immersion" is a special phenomenon in the human spiritual ecology,which refers to being in a certain state or ideological activity.New media art regards the creation of "immersion" as one of its pursuit goals,and the theory of new media art also regards "immersion" as an important category.The emergence of immersive art exhibitions follows general trend of the integration of art and technology.Although there will be different views of media art in different periods,the generation meaning of media to art works will never change.Especially in modernist artistic creation,the role of media on artistic activities is more prominent.This article takes the new media exhibition as the premise,focuses on the development trend of the new immersive art exhibition,and discusses the aestheticcharacteristics of the current immersive art exhibition.The full text consists of four chapters.The first chapter introduces an overview of immersive art exhibition,the first time "immersion" was put forward and its definition.It also and analyzes reasons of immersion’s origination,its characteristics and developments.The second chapter analyzes the application and characteristics of digital media in immersive art exhibitions through specific exhibition cases.First,the immersive art exhibition is a parts of new media art,with digitization and information as the medium.Second,with the continuous progress of human science and technology,artists have brought more creative space for the expression of artistic language,through the practice and research and R&D of technology.Third,the exploration and experimentation of contemporary art on exhibition works,such as the subject matter,the medium used in the work,and the materials of the work.The third chapter,comparing traditional art exhibitions with immersive art exhibitions,explains that immersive art activities must mobilize all the sensory channels of the audience,including visual,auditory,and tactile sensations of external senses,as well as the sense of balance and movement of internal organs.Make full use of human feelings to create immersive art and guide audiences to participate in the works.This explains the form and content of immersive art exhibitions.The fourth chapter,the aesthetic characteristics of immersive art exhibition,discusses the immersive art exhibition from three aspects of art creation,art work andart acceptance,discusses its exhibition theme,exhibition space creation and audience experience as a complete system to understand art work.The main reasons why immersive art exhibitions have become so popular in recent years is that,first,immersive art exhibitions can create virtual spaces through physical space and new media technologies,bringing high immersion,interactive and imaginative art activities;second,it makes the exhibition an immersive experience,enhances the presence of the audience,and allows them to enjoy the multi-sensory immersive aesthetic feeling enjoyment.
