The cross-cultural and interdisciplinary artistic creation mode brings new elements and in finite possibilities to the art itself.This breakthrough change is quietly affecting the entire artistic development.The interaction between contemporary art and various disciplines h as become one of the important symbols for international art to move from single to mult iple: The creative ideas of artists are integrated with the techniques of other disciplines;It changes from individual creation to team cooperation;A large number of new technolog ies have been applied to art works,which are exhibited at major international art exhibiti ons and published in academic journals.This is a new development and a new attempt,a nd the artist also has a multi-disciplinary background,which constantly breaks the bound ary between disciplines in cross-border practice and research.The beginning of this article explains the crossover,meanings,and possibilities of transb oundary.Through the analysis of the two contemporary artists,Nam June Paik and ólafur Eliasson,and their works,combined with my own work,I discussed my cross over practice and exploration.The final point of the argument is "breaking the boundary between art and medicine." After analyzing the works of British contemporary artists Da mien Hirst and Mark Quinn,I present my experimental works in the two disciplines of ar t and medicine,and sort out and summarize my own practical experience in artistic creati on.
