| China's contemporary experimental image dates back to the 1980s of the twentieth century, and gained rapid development in the 1990s. With the gradual maturity of contemporary artistic conception and image technology, image artists take full advantages of digital media to present their own understandings of experimental image, and create many diversified kinds of experimental image works featuring persona ideas and imaginations.Illusion characteristic of experimental image is fantastic and experimental factors of images. Such factors, reflected in every aspect such as theme, shooting methods and production methods, display methods, make images more experimental so as to distinguish them from common narration pattern. Illusion characteristic enables experimental image to blend with digital image technology, and conveys its unique artistic charm through unique expression way.From psychoanalytic point of view of the 2nd cinema semiotics, this article, through systematic research of experimental image and comparative research of illusion characteristics of experimental film and video art, concludes that illusion characteristic is the distinct characteristics of China's contemporary experimental image development. In addition, this article, by analyzing embodiment in each link of illusion characteristic of many China's contemporary representative experimental films and video arts, conducts in-depth study of aesthetic value and cultural value presented by illusion characteristic in experimental image works, and finds out illusion characteristic's practical guiding significance for creation of China's contemporary experimental image. |
