| Studies carried on this paper centers on the works of Wang Zhideng who is a famous scholar in the Jiajing and Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.Wang Zhideng,whose courtesy name is Baigu,is a poet,calligrapher and connoisseur of painting and calligraphy in the middle of Ming Dynasty.The History of Ming Dynasty · Wen Yuan Biography records that he has been served in the position of bookwritten more than thirty years since the death of Wen Zhengming.With his poems and calligraphy,Wang Zhideng has become an important figure in the art and literature circle of Suzhou.Starting from a series of calligraphies and paintings worked by Wang Zhiedeng,this paper explores his world showed in his calligraphies and paintings and presents the glorious photos of the life of men of letters in Wuzhong District at that time as much as possible.In the first chapter,according to a large number of poems and travel notes written by Wang Zhideng,the author tries to show a scholar’s life of living and traveling in Ming Dynasty.In the second chapter,the author studies the relationship between Wang Zhideng and Suzhou literati,especially the Wens’ family,and analyzes the works and historical facts.The third chapter mainly focuses on the analysis of Wang Zhideng’s painting and calligraphy book,Records of Calligraphies and Paintings in County Wu.Through the investigation of the background of the book,this paper points out the influence of the trend of biography writing on the literature of calligraphy and painting in Ming Dynasty,as well as the conflict between the Zhejiang painting faction and the Wumen painting faction in the literature of calligraphy and painting in the middle and late Ming Dynasty. |
