Contemporary Expression Of Mongolian Cultural Elements In Metro Public Art

With the development of the times and the advancement of science and technology,the subway has become an important means of transportation for urban travel due to its advantages of fast,convenient and safe.As an art form to improve the quality of subway space,subway public art can not only relieve the anxiety and pressure generated when passengers are in the underground space,but it also serve as an important carrier for displaying regional culture.In modern design,ethnic design is becoming one of the fast-developing trends,which is a manifestation of contemporary people's desire for cultural revival and national confidence.As an important member of many ethnic groups,the Mongolian people have a profound heritage and unique visual characteristics in their traditional culture.It is also a valuable asset of my country's traditional culture.This dissertation makes a comprehensive analysis of the Mongolian culture,and extracts the visual parts such as shapes,patterns,colors and other representative cultural elements to make it a source of cultural symbols for the construction of subway public art.Furthermore,it analyzes the closed and open environment of subway space and the psychological needs of the public,deeply studies the excellent cases of subway public art design at home and abroad,and explores various possibilities suitable for today's subway public art expression.The trend of contemporary expression of Mongolian cultural elements in subway public art is analyzed by combining regional culture,contemporary audience needs,and subway public art status.Combining design theory with actual cases,summarizing specific theoretical methods with new media,fun,public interaction,and environmental protection as the core,and finally applying the method to design.Based on the inheritance and development of Mongolian culture,this dissertation conducts a theoretical research on the public art design of the contemporary subway.To a certain extent,it illustrates the feasibility of applying Mongolian cultural elements to contemporary subway public art.Give the contemporary metro public art regional and national characteristics of the new era characteristics and significance.At the same time of spreading the Mongolian culture,it hopes to arouse the public's cognition of national culture of national culture,promotes the re-growth of culture,and thus stimulates the public to traditional culture new stimulate the public to re-innovate the new memory of traditional culture,and broadens the thinking for the public art design of ethnic subways.
