The Adoption Of Regional Cultural Elements In The Metro Planning Of Line M3 In Qingdao

Subway, as public transportation, is one of the most important vehicle, which is transforming our city, affecting our lives, and becoming a key component of public urban space.Currently, the Public Art that has been involved in metro space failed to escape the similar and monotonous technique of expression. Especially, with the booming development of globalization, it is a serious problem for Public Art in the subway space that how to inherit and develop various regional culture of different areas or regions effectively and reasonably. This thesis used the real case of Qingdao Line M3 as an example. It based on the current situation and tried to develop a preliminary understanding for the using method of subway public art in regional culture area. Meanwhile, the study try to provide some theoretical basis and practical reference for underground space construction.
