Since its birth in London in 1863,the city metro has been widely built and used all over the world.The emergence of the metro has eased the traffic congestion on the urban ground and brought people a more comfortable and convenient riding experience.With the emergence of the metro,the metro murals are the product of visual culture.The design of the metro murals needs to consider the coordination between the metro murals and the public environment to relieve the pressure of passengers on the metro space.Since the middle of the 20 th century,architects and mural stylist puts forward the theory of "environmental consciousness",mural design activities began to pay attention to people in different environments of mural works of visual psychological demand,at this point,the mural designer has broken the limitation in the design of mural "beautification adornment" and "narrative",on the premise of the passengers' visual psychological needs and to beautify and narrative function is designed on the basis of bearing the "art education" "visual advertising" "cultural propaganda" and other new functions of the metro mural works."Visual psychology" is a kind of psychological feeling directly reflected in the human brain cortex after the visual reception of intuitive things and external objective things.That is,the external visual image causes a series of psychological mechanism reactions through human visual organs.Visual psychology research is a detailed classification of psychological research.Its purpose is to achieve visual guidance through systematic visual efficacy analysis.As the external pattern is rich and changeable,the internal psychological function of the individual is also relatively complex.The design of metro murals should pay attention to the coordination of the relationship between the metro murals and the main body of passengers.The design of urban metro murals based on visual psychology focuses on the subject of "passengers",takes the visual needs of passengers as the starting point,is closely connected with the local culture in the design,and comprehensively considers theseries of visual psychological effects of metro murals on passengers.More scientific and artistic visual language into the metro mural art,in order to meet the needs of people's life.Based on visual psychology knowledge to study the application of metro mural design,this paper mainly takes the metro mural design produces different visual effects and design optimization,the passengers' visual aesthetic demand,from the perspective of visual psychological problems arising from the analysis of the metro mural design and improvement,good urban metro mural design case law to summarize and metro mural design the future trend of the development of these aspects are studied.In treating urban metro mural and public environment,the relationship between mural designers not only pay attention to the artistic creation of self,but the city metro mural works with building environment design as an organic unity,to meet the needs of passengers' visual aesthetic psychology,so as to create happy metro mural works of the broad masses of the people.
