Research On The“qijuzhu” And Its Historiographer

The Qijuzhu is an important historical work in ancient China.Thousands of years have elapsed since the beginning of the record work around the monarchs in the pre-Qin period.In the long historical period,the work of Qijuzhu and the recording system and official system around the recording of Qijuzhu have been constantly improved and developed,which undoubtedly has a profound impact on the development of history.The recognition of Qijuzhu starts from the division of historical works,and all historical works are divided into three levels: historical works,written historical works and interpreted historical works.Based on the concept of "Qijuzhu" set by the predecessors,the concepts were re-set according to the needs of actual research,and it was clarified that the Qijuzhu are historical works of history that contain the national affairs with the monarch as the core.At the same time,based on the new concept,the works that were once regarded as "Qijuzhu" in ancient times are reclassified.On the one hand,through the analysis of its characteristics,the typical works that conform to the new concept are listed;on the other hand,the typical works that are named after the "Qijuzhu" but do not conform to the concept are explained one by one.After clarifying that the "Qijuzhu officer" is a court official who is responsible for recording or simply summarizing the living note,comb the Qijuzhu officer who is responsible for recording the Qijuzhu.At the same time,it summarizes the three main characteristics of the Qijuzhu officer,who is not a single official,often has multiple positions,the recording responsibilities are gradually standardized,and is obviously restricted by monarchy.As a historical work recording the monarch’s words and deeds,the Qijuzhu can not only serve as a disciplinary effect on the monarch’s words and deeds,but also prepare sufficient data for the future compilation of historical books related to the monarch.The Qijuzhu have the following three characteristics: one is that the genre is mostly chronological.The second is based on official records.The third is the complexity of the content of the work.Generally speaking,the Qijuzhu,its related institutions,and the official system are of great research value to history.The research value lies not only in the extremely rich historical data value of the Qijuzhu itself,but also in the normative note style of the Qijuzhu,as well as in recording the historical thought of historical truth contained in the work.The original state of core national affairs is presented.All in all,from the perspective of historical research,the Qijuzhu left a valuable historical wealth to the later historical researchers.This historical wealth is of great benefit to historical research and needs to be further explored.
