On “Chapter Of Life” The Works Of Pipa Written By Liu Dehai

A pioneer appeared in the development of Pipa art,that is,“Master Pipa” Liu Dehai,who is an educator,performer,composer and theorist,and the leading figure in China’s Pipa business.Whether in composition,conducting,or in performance,teaching,Liu Dehai has made great achievements and made outstanding contributions.Liu Dehai’s artistic creation reached its peak in the mid-1980 s,and he created five works collectively known as “Chapter of Life” during this period,namely Swan,Spring Silkworm,Old Boy,Terracotta Warriors and Childhood,which expresses Liu Dehai’s pursuit of lofty life ideal.This paper tries to analyze and interpret the musical structure,performance techniques,artistic style and creative ideas of the five pieces of music in “Chapter of Life”,so as to explore its artistic features and artistic value and explore the far-reaching impact and significance of the works in “Chapter of Life”.This paper includes three parts: introduction,text and conclusion,and the text is divided into three chapters.First,the introduction in the first chapter mainly explains the source,the purpose and significance of the topic,and sorts out and analyzes the literature related to “Chapter of Life” and understand the research status of “Chapter of Life”,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the following paper writing.The second chapter elaborates and analyses Liu Dehai’s performance career and creative career.The third chapter and the fourth chapter are the core new chapters of the whole paper,w hich mainly elaborates and analyses in details the music noumenon,performance techniques,artistic style,creative ideas and innovations of the five works in “Chapter of Life”.The fifth chapter analyzes and summarizes the influence and historical significance of“Chapter of Life”.Finally,in the conclusion part,it briefly summarizes the research results of the whole paper.
