Public art is a symbol of the image and spirit of the city.It embodies the collective memory of the city and the public’s thoughts and emotions.Therefore,the study of public art can not be limited to the level of visual form.From its material existence to its inner spiritual connection and aesthetic value,public art constitutes its foundation for integration into public places.Among a number of art forms,tragedy,as the highest form of art,is recognized by audiences and readers with its profound cultural expression and rich emotional experience.As a kind of theme of public art,tragedy memory is not simply the pursuit of its aesthetic form,but the art form of “treasured things are broken” to awaken the feelings of pity and preciousness,and reflect the pure spiritual aesthetic.Based on the cultural perspective of tragedy memory,this paper explores the aesthetic characteristics of public art.Meanwhile,it also attempts to explore the uniqueness and value of tragedy memory in public art from the perspective of aesthetics and cultural spirit,and to provide a new study for public art.This paper is mainly composed of six parts.The first part is the introduction of this paper.It mainly introduces the research background of the article,the analysis of the relevant research status of the tragic memory in public art,and the main research contents and research methods.The second part is the first and second chapters of this article,which summarizes the related concepts of public art and tragedy.These theoretical studies pave the way for the following articles.The third,fourth and fifth chapters are the three core chapters of this article.From the perspective of cultural observation,the third chapter attempts to sort out the division of tragedy memory in public art,analyze the deep cultural connotation behind it,and arouse the public’s exploration of the spiritual value of public art works.From the perspective of accepting aesthetics,the fourth chapter discusses the aesthetic identity and interaction mode between the tragic memory and public in public art,and interprets the communication between the two from a new perspective.The fifth chapter presupposes the related arguments and arguments of the previous chapters.This chapter explores the significance and value of the tragic memory in public art for the three aspects of city,social individual and public art.The last part is the sixth chapter of this paper,which summarizes the whole thesis and looks forward to the related theoretical research on tragic memory in public art. |
