A Study On The Festival Ceremony Of Longevity Palace In Xishan

The Longevity Palace in Xishan of Jiangxi Province has a long history and is an important activity place of Jingming Taoism,a branch of Zhengyi School of Taoism.As a religious activity closely linked with folk activities,the Festival ceremony of the Longevity Palace also derived a unique local temple fair activity.It is a unique sacrificial ceremony of Taoism and a cultural phenomenon that can represent the core of Taoism thought.There are many kinds of Taoist Rites.Originally,the two kinds of rites in festivals,blessing and death,showed the characteristics of the rites.Combined with the characteristics of jingmingdao,this paper discusses the era characteristics and functions of festival science and instrument.
