A Study Of Mongolian Language Textbooks In The Early Republic Of China

The textbooks of Mongolian language in the early Republic of China are in the reform stage of the compilation of Mongolian textbooks,from the previous translation to textbooks edited in Mongolian.Therefore,the Mongolian language textbooks at that time had unique characteristics.This paper takes several Mongolian textbooks of the early Republic of China that were brought back by my supervisor from Japan and some certain books published in China as examples to study the contents and characteristics of the textbooks at that time.This paper consists of three parts: introduction,main body and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the basis and significance of the thesis' s topic selection,research overview,research methods and so on.The first chapter of this paper is devoted to collecting and organizing the Mongolian schools and textbooks in the early Republic of China.The first section introduces the general situation of Mongolian schools at the time in two ways,old-style private schools and public schools,respectively;the second section introduces the Mongolian language textbooks at that time from two aspects,traditional textbooks and new textbooks,respectively.The second chapter mainly explores the content structure of thetextbook.It consists of grammar,literature and common sense.The grammar part is discussed and analyzed from three aspects: letters,word formation and sentence construction.The literature part is discussed in two aspects: article and practical writing.The part of common sense is discussed from three aspects: history,folk custom and geography.The third chapter mainly discusses the characteristics of Mongolian language textbooks at that time in terms of content structure and language characteristics.By comparing with the previous Mongolian textbooks,the content structure and language characteristics of the textbooks in the early Republic of China were discussed.The summary part gives a general summary of the content of the full text and narrates the academic viewpoint.
