The transportation interchange space occupies an important position in the entire transportation hub system of the railway station and shows the appearance of a city. But the reality is that during the wayfinding process of the transfer space, passengers will get lost,or they will have to walk a long distance to reach their destination. Most people think that the improvement of the guide signs can be solved, but they often ignore the impact of wayfinding visual noise, environmental noise, building space and other factors on the wayfinding, and how the wayfinding design is changed at the railway station. There is no systematic cognition that reasonably exists in the multiplication space. This requires this article to start with research on wayfinding design and conduct on-the-spot investigations to analyze the existing wayfinding problems in the traffic interchange space of the railway station. This article takes Beijing Railway Station,Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station as the research objects, and combines the theoretical knowledge of architectural design, environmental behavior, spatial cognition and guiding signs to characterize the wayfinding environment of these stations through field investigations and experimental tests. With quantitative evaluation.Through scientific experiments of infrared eye trackers, eye movement data analysis was conducted to further study the visual cognitive activities of the subject in the wayfinding activities, and it was concluded that each person needed to search for relevant path information on each photo Response time, and the number of times you look at the picture with your eyes before finding relevant path information.Afterwards, using the average response time and the number of fixations as indicators,a quantitative evaluation of the overall wayfinding environment quality of each station was found. The wayfinding environment quality of the three train stations' traffic transfer space was ranked as Beijing Station,Beijing West The station and Beijing South Railway Station have established a reliable and scientific assessment model for the wayfinding environment of the interchange hub. Finally, the experimental results show that the efficiency of wayfinding is an important indicator to evaluate the quality of the transfer environment, and the quality of wayfinding can be evaluated by the passenger's ability to understand the scene in the station.Furthermore,it considers the improvement measures for the wayfinding environment of existing stations, and gives suggestions for wayfinding design from the three points of architectural space, guide signs, and advertising factors that can be clearly recognized by the human visual system.
