A Study On Zhishi Character In Oracle Bone Script

“The six categoryies of Chinese characters”were first appered in the Bao clan,local officials,rites of zhou,that is one of the skills learned by the children of ancient nobles,and later explained by Ban gu,Xu shen,Zhen zhong,which established a complete theoretical system and became an important basis for the configuration analysis of Chinese characters in later generations.Zhishi(self-explanatory character),one of the six categoryies of Chinese characters,although xu shen defined it,the description was too brief,and there were few examples,resulting indifferent opinionsin of "Zhishi" the later generations.There is no final conclusion,which not only affects the judgment of Zhishi,but also influences the research of other structure types.This situation also exists in the study of oracle bone script configuration.In the analysis of the research results of oracle bone script using the "The six categoryies of Chinese characters" theory,there is often a big difference between the judgment and inclusion of "Zhishi",and because the proportion of "Zhishi" is small,it is not paid attention to by scholars,and its research is not insufficient.Based on this,this paper chooses Zhishi of oracle as the topic.Firstly,in view of the divergence in the definition of "Zhishi",this paper sorts out the research results of "Zhishi",analyzes and sorts out the generality and difference of predecessors' understanding of "Zhishi",and comprehensively obtains a relatively systematic and reasonable "Zhishi".Secondly,the author makes extensive reference to the description materials of oracle bone inscriptions,USES the "finger-pointing view" determined in this paper to investigate the finger-pointing characters thoroughly,and on this basis analyzes the characteristics of the finger-pointing characters in Zhishi of oracle.The thesis consists of six parts.The first part is an overview of the research origin,significance,research status,research materials and research methods.The second part takes time as the longitude line and the research angle as the latitude line,organically connects the research results of Zhishi in the past dynasties,so as to show the development of Zhishi.The third part is the identification of Zhishi,according to the selected Zhishi materials,do exhaustive investigation,identify all possible Zhishi,and briefly present the judging basis and process of Zhishi.The fourth part is the study of oracle Zhishi symbol,which mainly focuses on the non-word components contained in the single-body Zhishi and the added-body Zhishi,explores the characteristics of symbol shape,quantity,combination mode,function and other aspects,and further studies the smallestcomponent of symbol.The fifth part is the study of oracle word-forming component,which mainly focuses on the word-forming component of added-body finger-pointing character,as well as the image-form finger-pointing character and its variant finger-pointing character.The sixth part is the conclusion and the summary.
