Research On The Poetry Collection Of Liuzhou Poets And The Liuzhou Poets Group

In the period between Ming and Qing Dynasty,the poetics of counties in the south of Yangtze River flourished.The Liuzhou poets group lived in Liuzhou,Zhejiang Province,was typically a group with both regional and familial characteristics.They took the local distinguished family members as the core,created a network of relationships and wrote poetry by family units.This is essentially a regional cultural community.This paper consists of three parts.The first part introduces the regional cultural tradition of Liuzhou and the main contents,poetic thoughts and style of the Poetry Collection of Liuzhou poets.The second part is the main part of this paper,Liuzhou poets have obvious family characteristics,so this paper makes an investigation of several literary families like the Wei’s,Cao’s and Qian’s to show the group’s style of “One family,multiple generations,the fine manners and traditions in poetry have been well inherited”.The third part is based on the second part,from the four aspects of internal relations,large-scale gatherings,poetry club activities and external exchanges,this paper explores the interpersonal relationship network of Liuzhou poets and the poetry creation based on it.The fourth part takes the former three parts as the background to deepen the understanding of Liu Zhou’s poems which have both the idea of reviving the ancients and the realistic innovation.The existence of Liuzhou poet group,especially shows the regional and familial characteristics of Ming and Qing poetics.Liu Zhou poets did not form a school of poetry and had no far-reaching influence.However,it can also be used as an example to study the Poetics of Jiangnan counties in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,showing the grand scene of Jiangnan literature in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.At the same time,as a regional poetry anthology,the Poetry Collection of Liuzhou poets provides samples for the study of Jiangnan literati groups and their compilation of poetry anthology during the Ming and Qing Dynasties,which is worthy of further discussion.
