| The givenness of thing and event is the new approach of phenomenology of givenness since 2008.The radicalization within phenomenology of givenness began with a series of work after the third phenomenological reduction, that is,the breakthrough of phenomenology of givenness through “saturated phenomenon” and the breakthrough of “saturated phenomenon” through the concepts of “thing” and “event”,so that Marion defined the concept of givability as the phenomenological style of givenness.Taking Garcia’s criticism of the intensive model and the concept of events as an external challenge,it is not only possible to go beyond the phenomenological limit on objects, but also to legitimately expand the boundary of saturated phenomenon: one more thing, that is,one more saturation phenomenon. Thus,in the radicalization of the concept of givenness, all things have the same place in givability and richness before the relationship is involved. The givenness of thing appears as phenomena, and such phenomenalization depends on the événementialité of thing. In a jungle of absolutely “flat” of thing, thing and event become synonymous concepts, thing is events, and event is thing, thing’s givability in the événementialité of event, and event’s événementialité in the givability of thing. |
