A Study On The Spirit Of Literati Painting In Contemporary Urban Landscape Painting

Contemporary urban landscape painting has been developing vigorously in the process of traditional art concepts and modern urbanization.It is a contemporary form of expression in which Chinese landscape painting participates in current life and expresses the spirit of The Times.Contemporary painters combine the brush and ink spirit contained in traditional literati paintings with modern artistic concepts to create works with national cultural temperament and times characteristics.Contemporary urban landscape painting refers to the urban landscape painting of contemporary people with both traditional cultural and spiritual connotation and contemporary characteristics.It inherits the brush and ink spirit of traditional landscape painting,constantly breaks through the traditional brush and ink program,and expands the expression language of brush and ink,which is one of the mainstream directions in the development of contemporary landscape painting.Literati painting's artistic creation encouraged Chinese landscape painting to embark on the development road of lyric freehand brushwork,leaving many classic patterns in the history of Chinese art.It has a distinctive national temperament and traditional cultural deposits,its theory development and maturity,gradually changed the development trend of traditional landscape painting.The pursuit of "spirit" and "artistic conception" in literati paintings brought landscape painting into the development stage of pursuing "writing" and "meaning",expanded the expressive force of brush and ink itself,and enriched the expression form of landscape painting.Pen and ink is not only the expression language of traditional painting,but also the spirit and character of the literati and their personal aesthetics.For our contemporary young creators,it is very important to seek a breakthrough between the individual and painting from the spirit of brush and ink that contains the traditional cultural connotation.Based on the spirit of literati painting and ink in contemporary urban landscape painting,this paper first traces the background and social environment of the birth of literati painting,expounds the concept of literati painting and the spirit of literati painting and ink,and then explains the connotation of the spirit of literati painting and ink painting from three aspects: observation method,creation view and inner spirit.Then from the contemporary urban landscape painting works to analyze the impact of the spirit of brush and ink on it,discuss the key role of the spirit of brush and ink to the contemporary painter's artistic creation and personal cultivation.
