The performance of instrumental music in China is as profound as the development of instrumental music culture.As the earliest trading port in China,Shanghai is "modernized","open" and "urbanized".These three are the most distinctive marks of Shanghai.With its special political,economic and cultural environment,Shanghai has accumulated its own musical and cultural qualities in historical changes.After the reform and opening up,with the support of the literary and artistic policies,Shanghai Guzheng performing arts have achieved new development.This article discusses the practice and theoretical issues of Guzheng performance in Shanghai,focusing on the three developmental elements of "Musician","Music",and "Musical Instrument".And in-depth research on the three aspects of Guzheng performance practice,combing the development context of Shanghai Guzheng performance art,and exploring its diverse development characteristics.The first chapter takes the Shanghai area as the background,summarizes the life and composition of Guzheng performers and composers who work in Shanghai,provides a detailed explanation of the group’s characteristics,and understands the group’s "research,creation,performance,communication" The creative trajectory fully grasps the artistic characteristics of Zheng music works.The second chapter mainly introduces the reform and innovation of Guzheng,performance techniques and performance methods born in Shanghai,which has brought Guzheng’s expressive power into a new stage of development,and Guzheng’s performance technology has also entered a diversified exploration period.The research on the creation of guzheng music and guzheng performance techniques in chapters 1 and 2 shows that the musician is the main body of the music performance,the music is the basis of the music performance,and the instrument is the carrier of the music performance.The three elements interact and interact with each other to promote The development of music.The research in the first two chapters provides a practical basis for the activities of the Guzheng music group in Chapter 3.The third chapter starts from the practical perspective of Guzheng performing arts,through studying the professional training model of Guzheng of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and the domestic and international practical activities of Guzheng music groups,to see the spread and exchange of Guzheng performing arts after the reform and opening up.Chapter 4 explains the reasons for the diversification of Shanghai Guzheng performing arts from 1978 to 2000 from a cultural perspective.The author believes that the development of Guzheng performing arts in Shanghai is one of the representatives of the development of Guzheng performing arts in China.Since the reform and opening up,Shanghai Guzheng’s performing arts have been influenced and restricted by factors such as social and cultural environment,era concept,aesthetic consciousness,etc.,and have shown the characteristics of pluralistic development,which is an inevitable requirement for the development of the times.The diversified development of Shanghai Guzheng performing arts is also the trend of the development of Chinese Guzheng performing arts in the 21 st century.
