An idiom is an important part of Chinese vocabulary.Idioms have a long history,rich sources,abundant quantities and high frequency of use.It has a very important position in modern Chinese language and is also considered a difficult point in the advanced stages of teaching Chinese as a second language.The title of this paper is "Chinese and Indonesian Contrast and Teaching Research-Based on HSK Level 6 Vocabulary Idioms".The corpus of the research is derived from the "New Chinese Proficiency Test Outline" as the basis of the analysis,and the 108 four-character idioms specified in "HSK6" are included in the research scope of this topic.This paper is divided into two major parts.First,the author compares and analyzes the definitions,characteristics and cultural sources of Chinese and Indonesian idioms,then finds the commonalities and differences between Chinese and Indonesian idioms.On this base,the author,as an Indonesian student,combines the information of Indonesian students and personal experience,to identify the problems that Indonesian students have when learning Chinese and propose relevant teaching strategies.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,the purpose,significance,and content of the research are explained in this section.As well as the current research status,research methods,and theoretical basis.Through the research,the author explains the similarities and differences between the cultural background and idiom sources of the two countries,the problems of Indonesian students learning Chinese idioms and relevant solutions are proposed.The second chapter consists of statistics on the vocabulary of the "New Chinese Proficiency Test Outline HSK Level 6".This part describes the requirements of the new HSK six-level outline idiom,also analyzes and contrasts the meaning of Chinese and Indonesian idioms through charts.The third chapter is the definition and characteristics of Chinese and Indonesian language,the description of the idiom features of Chinese and Indonesian language.In terms of meaning,there are some different forms of idioms in Chinese and Indonesian.A comparative source of idioms and differences between Chinese and Indonesian,is introduced with the history of Chinese and Indonesian languages.In this section,the similarities and differences between idiom cultures are presented.These can be divided into religious beliefs,the natural environment,the numbers in cultures,and the expression of plants in the idiom.The fourth chapter has the suggestions for Indonesian students to learn Chinese idioms and teaching recommendations.Also this part describes the idioms of the Sebelas Maret University students and provides suggestions for Indonesian students.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,that summarizes the research results of this paper.The author provides convenience and reference materials for Chinese learners,especially students learning Chinese,whose native language is Indonesian,to provide a reference for future idioms.
