Application Of Tempera Painting Materials In Contemporary Oil Painting

Tempera is an ancient painting technique that plays an irreplaceable role in the production and development of oil painting.Chinese oil painting was developed by the Western "direct painting" system.In the 1980 s,Mr.Pan Shixun from the Central Academy of Fine Arts introduced Prof.Binkas and Mr.Claude Evil of the National Academy of Fine Arts in Paris Technical workshops.As a result,the Chinese oil painting industry began to explore the material medium.The history of oil painting is relatively short.The phenomenon of darkening and flaking of oil paintings in the 19 th century has occurred from time to time.This is especially true of the darkening and damage of some contemporary oil paintings in just ten years.Van Eyck's paintings have gone through more than six hundred years,except for some natural cracks,as if they had just been completed.The oil painting invented by Van Eyck is not the oil painting recognized by the public today.Van Eyck's technique is a hybrid technique based on Tempera painting combined with early cover dyeing.Its rigorous painting skills and attitude are worthwhile Study and study carefully.At present,there are relatively few domestic researches on Tempera's mixed techniques and related teaching courses.Research on Tempera's painting materials can promote the exploration of classical oil painting and enrich the expression of contemporary Chinese oil painting language.This article starts from the perspective of contemporary Chinese oil painting creation,combines literature information,and learns and applies personally by following the tutor to explain how Tempera's hybrid technique is researched and innovatively applied.The thesis is divided into two parts to explain.The first part,taking the origin and development of Tempera painting as the context,combs the origins of traditional Tempera painting and classical oil painting,as well as the formation of Tempera painting material application system,the material's attribute characteristics and expression forms and so on.With the help of works by domestic and foreign artists,a case analysis was conducted in terms of picture technique effects and materials to realize the unique aesthetic significance of Tempera painting materials combined with oil painting.The second part,combined with the instructor's paintings and personal practice and exploration,analyzes and studies the Tempera mixed technique in terms of painting concept,form and material innovation.In the context of contemporary art that focuses on the beauty of the work,the importance of studying Tempera's mixed techniques is expounded,and the prospects for the development of Tempera's painting materials in the creation of contemporary Chinese oil paintings are prospected.
