Inheritance And Expansion:The Application Of Tempera Painting In Illustration Creation

As the origin of oil painting,tempera’s painting has a long history.With the progress of the times,tempera’s painting materials and techniques have also experienced various forms of changes.Artists explore new directions in the inheritance and learning process of tempera painting,inject reality into the theme,and realize and convey a certain spirit through tempera painting.Looking at tempera’s painting from a perspective full of respect and change,it has great potential to tap,and also provides more possibilities for illustration creation.Based on the ancient painting technique of tempera in the 14th-16 th century,this paper analyzes and combs the history and development status of tempera’s painting,the concept and status of illustration,and the significance of tempera’s painting to illustration creation.This paper discusses the possibility of mutual promotion after introducing tempera painting into illustration creation.Through the analysis of the uniqueness and functionality of tempera’s painting,we can further understand tempera’s painting techniques and the pursuit of visual effects,so as to enrich and expand the painting language.Then it expounds the evolution of traditional tempera painting materials and techniques,and analyzes the application of tempera painting materials and techniques in illustration creation.This paper summarizes tempera’s painting from four aspects: the expansion of traditional materials,the extension of traditional skills,the pursuit of eternal spirit,and the transition between "new" and "old".It is not difficult to find that tempera’s painting materials and techniques are constantly changing and developing,and people’s aesthetics are also changing with the progress of the times.Tempera’s painting exudes unique charm and fresh vitality in the inheritance and development of artists.Finally,in the process of sorting out the text elements of the graduation project,constructing and perfecting the sketch,and practicing the materials and techniques,I deepened my understanding of tempera’s painting materials and techniques,explored more possibilities of illustration creation,enriched the spiritual pursuit of illustration creation,and realized the necessity of inheriting and expanding the traditional painting materials.
