In the era of "experience economy",consumers hope to have emotional exchanges with the products around them,so as to ease their indifferent social relations and obtain emotional satisfaction.Book form design is the key link before books are put into the market.With the continuous improvement of readers' aesthetic ability and reading demand,it is very necessary to innovate and explore the form design of paper books.Art books are a unique part of many modern books,which play a positive role in spreading Chinese art and culture,flourishing the art industry,improving the national aesthetic quality and rebuilding cultural confidence.With the vigorous development of the art book publishing industry,and influenced by the trend of "experience design",readers put forward more emotional appeals to the design of art books.Therefore,the form design of art books must pay attention to the emotional expression,in order to stand in the era of electronic reading.This paper takes the theory of emotional experience as the starting point,cuts into the form of art books,deeply explores the design method of emotional experience into the form of books,in order to provide a reference direction for the design of art books form in China.Topic will be divided into four parts,from the first part introduces research background,purpose and significance,elaborated the theory of emotional experience,system combing art books,forms and other related concepts,this paper analyzed the characteristics of art books and readers,inductive the books design problems in market research,indicate the direction for the study of the subject.The second part analyzes the expression of emotional experience in the form design of art books from the aspects of instinct,behavior and reflection.The third part explores and innovates the principles and methods of the form design of art books from the perspective of emotional experience and discusses its influence.The fourth part verifies the feasibility of the conclusion through the concrete design practice.Through the mutual transformation of theory and practice,the "three-level theory" is internalized in the form design of contemporary art books,which takes the reader as the center of innovation,which is conducive to improving the reader's emotional experience and aesthetic accomplishment.To a certain extent,it increases the added value of art books and helps the development of the art book industry.
