In the family of the Chinese nation,Yi is an ancient and glorious ethnic group.In the long history,we have created our own unique civilization.For thousands of years,hard-working and brave Yi people have left their mark in all stages of Chinese history.They breed and work in silence on the land of China.They stand like bright torches in the southwest of China,making great contributions to the reunification of the motherland and national unity.After the founding of the People's Republic of China,under the national unity policy advocated by the state,the development of ethnic minority theme art has been greatly promoted.With its unique natural geographical environment and human customs,the Yi has attracted numerous painters to go to sketching and creation,and many excellent works have appeared,but the theory of freehand figure painting creation and performance on Yi theme is still very backward In the former theoretical circles,most of the art research on Yi subjects was carried out from Yi aesthetic culture or folk art,and there was almost no special research on Yi subjects freehand figure painting.Based on this,this paper takes the freehand brushwork figures of Yi as the main line,and takes the development of new China as the time sequence,the article is divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,according to the time sequence,the development of the freehand brushwork of Yi is divided into three periods: germination,development and diversification,trying to sort out the development track of the creation of the freehand brushwork of Yi in the freehand brushwork of Yi;.in the second chapter,under the unique geographical and cultural environment of Yi,the performance content of the freehand brushwork of contemporary Yi is summarized and sorted,mainly divided into festival culture;The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the performance of the contemporary Yi freehand figure painting,focusing on the creation of the figure image,the breakthrough of the brush and ink techniques and the exploration of the spiritual world;the fourth chapter is the artistic value of the Yi freehand figure painting and the current situation Thinking about the problems faced.The innovation of this paper lies in the arrangement and analysis of the Yi People'sfreehand brushwork,in-depth excavation of the presentation level of the Yi People's freehand brushwork in the creation,as well as the charm characteristics and artistic value highlighted in the creation,and the use of Chinese painting theory to explore the image and shape of the Yi people's freehand brushwork,ink and techniques,spirit and thought.This paper intends to demonstrate how to not only deeply express their living conditions and spiritual outlook,but also create works of art with the value of the times and ethnic characteristics in the practice of Yi theme painting creation,in order to provide some ideas and references for the future painters of Yi theme creation.
